The Visual Design: The Ultimate Guide course provides students with a holistic understanding of visual design and increases their knowledge of visual principles, color theory, typography, grid systems, and history.

Situation
IxDF offered 32 courses that covered a wide range of topics within UX design. However, they were missing a crucial course—visual design—that was highly requested amongst our 140,000 students.

Task
Create, design, and launch a new course on visual design.

Actions
01 Research: Performed a competitive analysis, conducted research, and created mood boards.
02 Curriculum: Created course outline, developed syllabus, and interviewed leading experts.
03 Writing: Wrote over 47,304 words including lessons, video scripts, and multiple choice questions.
04 Design: Created 204 illustrations, nine ready-to-use templates, six articles, two posters, and one toolkit.
05 Launch: Designed ad campaign and social media graphics.

Result
Launched the course on time. Became one of IxDF’s top five most popular courses with over 4,000 students.
